Real leather you can feel, in a structured shape. The body is full-grain Italian leather with a pebbled grain, soft to the touch from day one. The shape comes from piping stitched along every edge, so the rectangle holds and the flat base keeps it standing. Screens shift color, so the exact shade can read a touch warmer or cooler in hand.

Small, and clear about how small. It measures 9.4" long, 3.1" wide and 6.3" tall and weighs 0.93 lb, so among small handbags and purses it reads compact, if a bit boxier than a photo suggests. One compartment holds a phone, a wallet, a small makeup bag and some extras: the everyday load, and the honest limit.

Simple inside, gold-tone throughout. Under the zipper: one main compartment, a wipe-clean lining, one patch pocket for a phone. Zipper, rings and strap clips are gold-tone on every color, the one finish this model comes in, and the tassel hangs from the zipper pull with the strap clipped to its own ring beside it.

▸ Understanding leather grades & finishes

Leather grades

Full-grain — the top layer of the hide with its natural grain left intact (not sanded or buffed). The strongest and most durable grade. Left smooth and unfinished it develops a patina over time; with a pebbled or protective finish it keeps a more even, consistent look instead.

Top-grain — the same top layer, lightly sanded to even out imperfections and usually sealed with a finish. Thinner and more uniform, slightly less durable.

Split leather (suede) — the soft lower layer of the hide, left once the top grain is split off. Suede is a split buffed to a velvety nap. Less durable than grain leather, but a genuine material valued for its texture.

Corrected-grain — leather whose natural grain has been sanded away to hide flaws, with an artificial grain then embossed and a pigment coating applied in its place. It is the sanding-off of the real grain — not the texture itself — that separates it from full-grain. This is what is most often sold under the label "genuine leather."

Bonded leather — leather scraps ground up, bonded with polyurethane and embossed. The lowest grade — often only 10–20% real leather.

About "genuine leather": "genuine" only confirms an item contains real leather — it says nothing about the grade. It is also one of the most-searched leather terms online, so reputable sellers and budget makers alike include it in their listings to be found; on its own it tells you nothing about quality. The honest high grades carry their own names (full-grain, top-grain), so when a bag lists no grade or leans on "genuine leather" alone, the material is usually corrected-grain or lower. Judge by the grade, not the label.

Surface finishes

Pebbled grain — a fine, even pebble texture pressed into the hide under heat and pressure (on our bags, the Italian "Dollaro" pattern). The texture is added to the surface, not a cover-up for grain that has been sanded off. The raised pebbling scatters light and disguises everyday scuffs, so the bag keeps a fresh look longer — the trade-off is a tactile, understated surface rather than the high-gloss sheen of smooth leather.

Protective finish — many of our pebbled-leather bags carry a protective surface treatment that locks in the color and helps the leather resist daily wear and scuffs. It gives the surface a smoother, sealed feel — the same approach used by many European leather houses — and is a sign of a sealed, hard-wearing leather, not a synthetic one.

Metallic finish — on our metallic styles, a fine metallic foil is bonded onto the leather (or suede) with heat and pressure, becoming part of the surface rather than a coating laid on top. Because it is fused into the leather, the metallic effect won't crack, flake, or rub off — it is made to last the life of the bag.

Real, good quality leather and fully adjustable strap

This crossbody bag is made from genuine leather that is high quality, feels durable (not thin) and the bag feels like will last a lifetime. The leather has a slight pebble texture to it and the hardware is gold. The way the strap is made, it is fully adjustable to any length by sliding the strap through the buckle - there are no holes limiting the amount of adjustments you can make or to get stretched out/distorted with use. I have ordered numerous bags that claim to be crossbody, but the strap ends up being too short to truly work over my larger bust, but this bag worked perfectly with my larger chest and on someone with a much smaller frame. The inside of the purse is open, but there is one side pocket that is cell phone sized. The inside lining is made from a durable feeling canvas material, rather than a softer silky material. It feels less luxurious, but I think it will be easier to keep clean and prove to be less likely to tear with long term use. The bag came with a nice dust bag to store the purse in as well. I'm impressed with the quality of this bag and love it.

Cute Little Leather Bag

I'm very happy with this cute little bag. It is made in Italy and real leather, which I'm pleased with. Honestly, I have learned that I would rather have fewer higher-quality bags, i.e., made with leather vs. PU leather. While I may pay a little more upfront, the fact that the leather will still look good and be usable in 5 years vs. the PU leather, which only makes it like a year, makes it feel more sustainable. The size of this bag is perfect for carrying critical items, wallet, phone, glasses, lipstick, etc. The share allows it to hold a good bit of items despite its smaller size. The strap is adjustable, so it can be a shoulder bag or cross-body. It's very classic and refined looking, the leather tassel is a nice touch. I will say the outside of the bag looks excellent and of good quality. However, the inside is a little unfinished looking, in my opinion. I wish there was some lining, even something simple would make it feel a little more expense. But still, no one really sees the inside, and the outside looks great, so I still love it.

You don’t need designer bags. This one is just as nice.

Just received it today but upon checking it out , I am impressed. For the price you get genuine leather bag that is cute and lightweight. I was able to fit my wallet, phone,sunglasses case and a chopstick and it still is not packed. I am very happy with this purchase. I hope it will last.

Exactly what I was looking for - love it!

This has become my go-to bag. Very easy for daily use and for travel and even fits a very small travel umbrella, plus everything else I need for the day. I also really appreciate the internal side pocket. Would love if it had another pocket on the opposite side. The leather has worn very well - it doesn't show scuffs or scratches (I got the black). It still looks almost brand new after months of use. That said, the stitching near the back of the zipper is starting to separate. If it gets much worse, I'll take it to the shoe repair to see if they can restitch because the bag is perfect for what I need.

I absolutely love the bag and get compliments, but I got the white and it seems to have picked up colors that it gets up against and has been very difficult to clean even though I have ordered the best weather cleaner for this type of bag, which is help, but has not by Any stretch of the imagination, made it like it was

Beautiful bag! A perfect size. The only critique I would make is that they put a slip pocket or zippered pocket on the outside. FYI, inside the bag, there is a slip pocket only. No zippered pocket. I really like the bag. It looks very expensive. I love it!
